"Will bring a smile for years to come!"

The Teton Teepee Lodge has been a cherished landmark in the heart of the Tetons since its founding in 1971 by the Becks and Melehes families. Located halfway between the town of Driggs, Idaho, and the Grand Targhee Ski Resort, this family-built, owned, and operated lodge has become a favorite gathering place for skiers, snowboarders, and winter enthusiasts since it first opened its doors to guests in 1975. The unique architectural design of the lodge, with its iconic teepee shape, has long captivated visitors, offering a warm and welcoming retreat in the midst of stunning natural surroundings.

For over five decades, the Teton Teepee Lodge has been more than just a place to stay; it has been a home away from home for those seeking adventure in the Tetons. After an exhilarating day on the slopes of Grand Targhee, located just six miles up the road, or exploring the breathtaking Teton Canyon, only two miles away, guests find solace in the lodge’s inviting atmosphere. The central sunken fireplace, surrounded by cozy couches, is the perfect spot to unwind with a hot drink and share stories of the day’s exploits. Guests can also enjoy a friendly game of pool with friends or retreat to the comfort of their rooms for some well-deserved rest and relaxation.

The Teton Teepee Lodge continues to uphold its tradition of adventure while offering a unique and personal experience to each guest. The Anderson family, who took ownership of the lodge in 2017, has embraced the lodge’s legacy, ensuring that every stay is filled with warmth, comfort, and the sense of community that has made the Teepee a beloved destination for generations. The family’s commitment to preserving the lodge’s rich history and the traditions of winter sports in the Tetons makes every visit a part of the ongoing Teton legacy.
